I know that’s how my client K was feeling.

We discussed how to manage her time and that it never felt like she could finish anything. I recommended time blocking as my first suggestion.

K really knew she needed a change in her business in order for it to run smoothly and for her to have some time to complete tasks. The first thing she said to me was “This will NEVER work for me.” I sat back and listen to her while she explained:

With this customized approach, she was able to map out all the time she needed, choose specific times that would be uninterrupted and realize how her expectations of what she could accomplish on certain days may have been too high. 

Now I’m not saying time blocking is your solution too, but being open to trying something new is key to finding the best options for your business.

Today, K not only swears by time-blocking but she’s also been able to take on additional projects and businesses and shares with her clients how she thought it would never work and how glad she is that she’s kept an open mind.
